Can you train your core every day? We get this question A LOT, especially since a strong core is so helpful for runners and we all use it daily for regular activities and movements.
While some people can sustain training their core more frequently, there still is a need for proper muscle recovery (much like other muscle groups) as well.
Plus, if you're already doing other strength workouts you're most likely using your core, regardless if you are actually doing crunches, sit-ups, planks, etc. We actually include some sort of core into almost all of our SISSFiT strength workouts.
Therefore, we encourage our community to add in supplemental core work 1-3x a week.
