Day 7: Recovery Day

Taking one day off per week from any workout is so important for allowing your body to properly recover and reset/prepare for future workouts.  We recommend 20-30 minutes of extended-hold stretching and/or foam rolling.  Not only will this increase your performance throughout your workouts, it will highly reduce your risk of injury, and reduce overall stress.  Throughout our guides we include an extensive stretching guide that leads you through daily stretching as well as a full stretch routine on Recovery Day.  If you are someone who has a hard time stretching on your own, we highly recommend Restorative Yoga or Yin Yoga.  Recovery Day is easy to get in the habit of neglecting but it is equally as important as any other day of your week!
